This site of the former West Cliff Hotel was acquired in November 2003 and is situated in the heart of the New Forest .

The site is situated in The National Park and proved an interesting challenge in terms of gaining a planning consent, however after continuous work and effort in a detailed planning consent was achieved in September 2008 to comprehensively refurbish the remaining structure and extend the property to accommodate a 56 bedroom care home on the site.

In January 2009 the site was sold to Balcombe Care Homes Limited.
